The Vivaldi Project trio brings to life forgotten Classical string trios. There is a trove of these magical compositions by important composers including J. C. Bach, Cambini, Boccherini, Campioni, the famed Joseph Haydn, and many others. Largely ignored by musicians and audiences for over 200 years, these wonderful works contribute to the narrative of the chamber music canon. The Vivaldi Project trio explores the delightful textures and sonorities of a set of mostly unknown Classical and early Romantic works—the direct descendants of the Baroque trio sonata.
