Sinti Rhythm Jazz Quartet

Sinti Rhythm is an acoustic quartet that performs Gypsy jazz and vintage swing, a music dedicated to the legacy of Django Reinhardt. The word “Sinti” (meaning “Gypsy”) has obscure origins and is associated with the Roma, a nomadic people many of whom were musicians. An exotic fusion of American jazz with European romanticism driven by the pulse of string-based rhythms, Sinti Rhythm’s music features standards from the Great American Songbook, original compositions by Django, and selections from Sinti musicians like Bireli Lagrene, Stochelo Rosenberg, Angelo DeBarre, Dorado Schmitt, and Titi Winterstein.
