Marvento Duo explores musical translations in the flute and piano repertoire: text to melody, movement to sound, violin to flute, birdsong to sonata. Join Elizabeth Chladil (piano) and guest Weronika Balewski (flute) for a concert featuring Robert Schumann’s Three Romances, the duo’s transcription of Claude Debussy’s Violin Sonata, Bohuslav Martinu’s Sonata for Flute and Piano, and David Dzubay’s “Footprints.”
