Brookline Open Studios

FreeBrookline (Open Studios) Artists Welcomes Spring Visitors
An unique two-day event to meet some of Brookline’s most vibrant and creative artists.
On April 25 and 26 from 11 am to 5 pm, over 125 artists will open their doors to invite the general public into their studios or exhibition sites. With 36 locations around town, visitors can experience the springtime beauty of Brookline’s tree-lined streets as they stroll, ride the T, or drive from studio to studio.
Admission into the studios is free for all. Yellow and green balloons and posters will be prominently displayed outside each Open Studio site. Many studios/exhibition sites are within a 5- to 10-minute walk from the MBTA Green Line “D – Riverside” or “C – Cleveland Circle” branches. Handicapped accessible sites are: the Brookline Public Library, Brookline Police Station, Brookline Town Hall, Brookline Arts Center, Brookline Senior Center, Inner Space,Chestnut Park Assisted Living and Gateway Arts.

Brochures are available at the main branch of the Brookline Public Library and at many businesses in Coolidge Corner, Washington Square, Cleveland Circle, and Brookline Village. Visitors with smartphones or tablets may also use the participating artists list and interactive maps located on the Open Studios website, www.brooklineopenstudios.com. The interactive map gives walking and driving directions to all of the participating studios.
