To give the Route 9 overpass in Brookline Village a splendid sendoff, please join local artist Percy Fortini-Wright on Wednesday, June 24 who will tackle the task of turning the eastbound side of the bridge into a temporary work of art.
All are welcome to come watch as, with paint in hand, the bridge changes into a new vision. Hopefully what has been an eyesore in recent years, can, for the time between now and its scheduled demolition, be used as a giant canvas to bring street art to the neighborhood using a genre that has been somewhat under appreciated.
