Music and poetry of solace and resilience

Spring 2016 concert: Korean American Cultural Foundation.

This concert of music and poetry features talented musicians in the Boston area playing eclectic collection of classical and contemporary pieces to memorialize the children who suffer intolerance, poverty and disasters around the world. At the same time, it aims to celebrate the resilient spirit in overcoming the grief and fighting to make the world better, safer and more hopeful. 

The performance will include pieces by Bach, Bloch, Piazzolla, Whitacre, Granados and Kurt Weill as well as contemporary pieces written by the members of the performance. Poetry of mourning and solace will be shared by audience members.
