Gallery 93, located in the Brookline Senior Center at 93 Winchester Street, is pleased to present to photographs of Julie Smith. These photographs, taken during her many travels, feature stencils and wall art superimposed on layers of paint and plaster, which give messages of hope and despair along with a sense of erosion and decay. Ms. Smith states, “Walls are often able to tell a story, not only from the many layers of paint and plaster showing through, but also from messages via stencils, written words, or splashes of paint.”

Gallery 93 is open Monday through Friday, 9:30 to 4:30 (closed on weekends). The gallery is located on the second floor of the Brookline Senior Center.
