BeadDazzled: Knotting Beaded Necklace 2 Part Workshop

WHY KNOT? Design and create your one-of-a-kind beaded 16 inch necklace with clasp. Demonstrations & hands-on learning. Experience the traditional knotting technique used with pearls in this workshop.
Agenda/Topics covered
You’ll receive written instructions and helpful tips to take home to support you. Beads, silk cord, clasp, bead tips, and tweezers. We will share tools during class. Learn the basics of bead stringing and names and uses for commonly used tools, stringing materials, and findings. Success in this prepares you for pearl knotting!
What to knot and what not to knot. Supplies, tools, placing knots, removing knots, attaching clasps, and design aspects of a knotted clasp necklace will be explained and experienced.
All levels welcome – no experience needed.
Special Instructions
Basic materials to complete project are provided and tools are available to use as well as purchase. Participants MUST BRING glasses for close work.
