BeadDazzled: Resurrection Jewelry Workshop

What do we do with those earrings whose mate is lost, with the broken beaded necklace? Do we create or discard? Let’s see how we might be able to incorporate, repair, or repurpose items we hold dear. It is often a challenge to redesign with ‘broken’ jewelry. If we’re challenged together our collaboration will surprise us with possibilities

Designing with odd pieces of ‘precious’ items we might find release and a sense of relief. I’ll bring 50+ years of design and jewelry fabrication experience. You supply some baubles that you can’t part with. Let’s explore what the possibilities are.
Pin, pendant or non-matching earrings? Your precious and almost discarded items plus your willingness to let go of old ideas will be transformed into a new wearable. We’ll discuss upcycling, design, materials to use and to avoid.

Bring your parts that need some love. I’ll have some materials for ‘fixing’ along with ideas that I’ll propose.
